RPC DCOM SDBot

    RPC worm - anyone having trouble with it? (MSKB 823980)

    I know it is supposed to mostly target servers but I am noticing folks on various other forums having RPC issues with 2K w/s and XP-pro causing system crashes. Same symptoms an infected server will demonstrate.

    Yep, it is a virus. I just downloaded the fix from Symantec and cleaned up two computers on a network. It is not just infecting servers.
