Upon installing W2K the LPT1 & Com1 were disabled - seemingly b/c of a conflict with Crystal WDM Audio Codec (error code 29). The windows support page advises to "enable devices by accessing the BIOS ". I have not found any specific advice HOW to do that.

Does anybody know? Any advice on how to avoid this conflict with the Crystal Audio Codec?

    Many thanks

Ok... figured this out myself... F2 during startup, set O/S plug & play to "no "and then enable the ports.
