Can any of you guys help me with this one. In the past using Outlook Express 5.00.2615.200, when I have clicked on an E-Mail link within a web page OE opened up and the new message window also opened up with the links E-Mail address already entered. Now when I click on a link OE opens but NOT the new E-Mail window?

Make sure OE is your default email client and IE is your default browser. In IE go to tools, internet options and make sure under the general tab IE is set as default. Then click on the programs tab and make sure in the email field OE is listed.
You might also try the Internet Explorer Repair Tool.

Thanks Sunny and Miz, I tried all these obvious things before I asked for help.
The E-Mail link from the web page DOES open OE, but it does not open the "New Mail" window with the appropriate address of the link already inserted as it always did before.

Click start>settings>folder options. Click on the file types tab and in the list of file types find URL: Mailto Protocol. Double click on it and in the box under actions double click on open. In the small window that opens, where it says application used to perform action make it should look like the following line.

    C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /mailurl:%1

Of course, if you have it installed somewhere other than the default it the path would reflect that accordingly. Apparently the path part is right as OE opens when you click on the link. I'm guessing you're maybe missing the /mailurl:%1 part. Check it out. Make sure you leave a space between msimn.exe" and ?mailurl:%1.
