I am having two problems with IE6. I have Windows XP. Well ok I am assuming it is IE6 that is causing the problems, but one of them might be a javascript problem. I dunno cuz I'm a novice.

    1) Sometimes (more often than not) when I click on a link to a site, I get a blank page that reads Microsoft Internet Explorer at the very top. Sometimes I have to click the link 5 or 6 times before it will actually open with the proper window.

    2) I constantly receive internet explorer script errors of all different kinds: object expected or null are the most common. Is there something wrong with IE?? Please help, I have tried everything that I have seen to no avail.

    Thanks to everyone in advance.

    Adjust settings In IE6

The first thing I would check on would be the Security settings and adjust to medium in IE6. Go to tools internet options, security custom and adjust to medium.
Next go to tools, internet options advanced and uncheck the box which states "Display notification about every script error" and than I would move down to Java area which should be in Microsoft VM (virtual machine) and make sure all boxes are checked click ok and exit, You may have to restart computer that should solve it. If not possible repair to IE6. See sites below for detailed info.

Even more possibilities here if you are trying to open in a new window

And if it is not mentioned in one of the articles, try disabling any firewall or popup/ad blocker (individually).
What happens if you click on Refresh on the IE Toolbar?
The thing that is a little mysterious is that you can eventually access the page, but let's hope the above helps.
