email- spell check and other problems

Help PLEASE!

I have downloaded Windows XP Home edition and now have a few problems.
1. In outlook express the spell check always comes up as "spelling is halted" I have Works installed.
2. I can't open any attachments
3. There is no tool bar to change fonts or colors.

1. close any open prgrams go to control panel addremove program's start the uninstall of works there should be an option to repair. use it.

2.did you recieve the attachments ? OE has to be set to allow
these other wize will block every attachment >tools,
options,

3.that would be in the layout options

4 let us know what happens

Try this for the Spell Check problem. That is a know issue in Windows XP.

In OE go to tools, options and click on the security tab. Take the check out of do not allow attachments to be opened.

When you open a new message are you not seeing the formatting toolbar? If so, in the new message window go to the view menu, toolbars and put a check in formatting bar.
