    Hi Charles

I've had my nose to the grindstone the last couple of weeks.

As for "Blaster" had to fix one 2K machine, one of my clients did not keep updated. No big deal walked him thru manually removing then had him update. Then I logged on with PcanyWhere and finished the job.

I've had to fix far worse. Course the key here is to get it immediately before it can invite in some friends for a party!

    Hang in!

    Mike

    realix Hi
I think they had recently changed there IP address
At least for there forums they did , so if you have a hosts file set up to (so called accelerate) you'l need to remove all reference to them ,,and delete the old cookies,,,,,,,,

If you have already contracted the cool web search bug , one of its latest tricks was to block access to spyware info forums.spyware info and Lavasoft..
    http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/

so search your PC for a file called hosts with no file extension
    rename it to hosts.back
then try again,(not hosts.sam or Lmhosts)
    http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html
The removal tool is down near the bottom same page
