    Windows 98SE

I am unable to get a .jpg image to preview in Windows Explorer when I click on it. I was always able to get a preview before, but now for some reason I can't. I have gone through everything I can think of to turn it on, but nothing works. A .bmp image previews fine, but not the .jpg. I deleted the .jpg file type from Folder Options, and then re-associated it. I have checked the "Enable Thumbnail View" on the individual folders that contain .jpg files. I am at a loss.

The only software change was an udate to DirectX9.0b. I did a reinstall on that just to make sure. I have another computer that I've not updated to DirectX9.0, and it still previews .jpg images just fine.

Am I missing something, or am I skrewed?

A quick search of this site for "preview" found this.
