When i am in explorer and select "create new folder" nothing happens. If I click to go up the directory and then back into the folder, the folder I just create is there.

This also happens if I try to delete a folder. I select a folder press delete but the folder just stays there. I have to go to a different folder and then come back for the folder not to show.

    Really annoying, any ideas?

Is this normal behavior though Newt? When I open explorer, navigate to a directory, right click on the right pane and select new folder it displays immediately for me.

The reason I posted was because I knew this wasn't normal.

I have 3 computers running XP and only one of them does this.

There must be a fault or a setting wrong somewhere

Marty - no it is not normal.

But luckily our chief, #1, good-link maven Abraxas posted a good one to fix the issue. :D
