Saving pics in original format?

I need som help with this one!

I got IE 6.0.

When I click on the save icon on a pic or chose "Save as.. ", IE wants to save the pic in bmp.-format, regardless of that the pic is in .jpg or .gif. It's not possible to choose the right format in the save dialog box.

This is a new problem, since I previous have been able to save in original format. Very annoyng, since I have to convert the format everytime.

How do I fix it?

 

It's a known issue and emptying the cache (IE>Tools>Internet Options>Delete Files button) usually fixes it.
