    :) hI everyone, i have win2k workgroup server with sp4 and
    configure as static ip. i have also 2 workstation with running on win98se. The problem is that when click win2k server and it's prompt "can not access server <the server is not configure for transaction> ". User created on server with administrator right.
    Please help on this, thanks.:confused:

    Can you ping the server by name or by IP address from the Windows 98SE machines? Try both and report results here.

    Is the Workstation and Server services running on the server.

    Can you get the server's NetBIOS name information using the command:

    "nbtstat -a NETBIOSNAME"

    or

    "nbtstat -A IPADDRESS "?
