I know that XP has a new functionality where you can rename multipe files within the same folder at once but I don't know how to do it. Could someone explain? Thanks!

    Hi

As far as I know it depends on what you are renaming. You select multiple files - rightclick and select rename.

Explorer should cycle through all the files allowing you to rename them one by one.

Console rename is allot easier and allow wildcards.

    Here's a neat trick:
Need to open multiple programs off the start menu?

Are you clicking start -> program .... and again start -> program?

Next time click start -> Hold down Shift and click all the programs you want - Windows will run them all ... and keep the Start Menu open.
