Nero Version 6 and Windows XP

Hi,

Has anyone had problems installing Nero 6 under Windows XP?

I uninstalled the old version using Nero Cleanup, cleaned the registry of all references to the old Nero, rebooted and installed the version 6. After rebooting, clicking on the Smart Start or the main application I get a blue screen (fatal error) and have to reboot.

Uninstalled and went back to the old version (V 5.5).

Any suggestion? Nero site is hopeless even for registered people.

Thanks for the hint. Nah.... I tried on a NTFS partition too. The same problem on both types.... Maybe some of the updates from Micro$ is playing up?...

I read somewhere that some other users had a similar problem. I emailed Nero support anyway but I'm not holding my breath... If I don't find a solution, I will not upgrade. Bad luck for them...

This is not my problem... IN CD works fine, Actually when I uninstalled the Nero suite, InCD was gone as well. When I install Nero 6, I installed only the main app, clean...

I'm a bit lost on this one.

By the way, I received an automatic message from Nero support saying that the problem was directed to someone. Amazing! They (the robot anyway) replied! Who knows they (a human) will finally talk to me...
