Deleted Outlook Express Mail

    I know there is a way in Windows 98 to access deleted Outlook Express mail. Is there a similar area in Windows XP?

    If you simply delete a message it is moved to the Deleted Items folder and can be viewed whenever.

    If you delete the contents of the Deleted Items folder - or have OE set up to empty the Deleted Items folder on closure, the contents of deleted items .dbx are cleared when the PC is shut down.

    The stuff is still in the bowels of Windows. Try a Google search for a shareware called, "R-Mail" There's a demo. It's $29.95

    It seems to work.

    Thanks but in Win98 they were available to restore with no special software.
