Have mistakenly deleted all Java stuff in the registry, went to the scanreg/restore and replace registry with a previous backup. Still cannot get the Java stuff to work. Went to Filechecker...Used Win98 CD to replace on one file that the checker asked for. Question: is it possible to restore all of the mistakenly removed files some other way...or do I have to reformat the drive? Newbie here...would appreciate any help...Thanks:)

    Thank You

Thanks for the reply. I have gone to the web site, downloaded the files and installed. It works, but not the same as the original files. I am going to attempt a reformat, (first time), and use the original Win98 CD to go back to square one. If I fail, I end up with a 2lb door stop...again, thanks. I'm not sure what you mean about the header,...so that you dont delete my message as spam. I tried to follow all the instructions about signing in.....?
