    Hi All, this is a simple small question, how to i get my wallpaper to show up during the win2k logon screen when i first start my PC.

    Just to clarify - you mean you want to replace the normal Windows startup logo with another picture?

    not exactly, when Windows first comes up there is the logon screen and i type in my login and password, then my profiles comes up with my wallpaper. I would like to somehow get my wallpaper to show on the logon screen. sorry for the confusion.

    I know this is an old post, but I thought I would answer the question. Open regedit and goto the following:

    hkey_users/.default/ControlPanel/Desktop and edit the Wallpaper key. Type the exact location of the wallpaper you want. EX. c:\winnt\wallpaper.bmp

    ive noticed also that if you right click an image on the internet and select Set as Wallpaper will change it as well...
