Missing Gapi32.dll

I am using Windows XP and recently expierencing
error messages when trying to view pictures. It reads "cannot find missing gapi32.dll ".
How do I find and replace this missing .dll?

Should be on your Office CD. Find it and copy (NT version) to windows\system32. A program you uninstalled my have removed it by mistake.

 

Thank you unixfan Would the best way to fix the problem be to reload office over the existing program?

 

I would just copy the file from the CD first. If running Office 2000, it will be in PFILES\COMMON\SYSTEM\MAPI\1033\NT\
