Hello, I hope this is the right forum for this question...

I have this annoying pop up icon in my tool bar (on the right) that says "it found a new residential gateway device in my net work" and would i like a shortcut to my desk top.

If i right click the icon there is no "properties ", "exit/close" or anything...nothing happens when right clicked.

I have tracked it to "my network places" on my desk top but the only other computer hooked up to my home PC is a portable HP Jornada 720 which i've had for 2 yrs but this pop up started 2-3 months ago.

Basicly I don't know where this icon came from, it does nothing when selected or right clicked, and it has an annoying pop up that cycles 5-6 times a day....

    Any thoughts?

    Mike
