First, seems to me would be nice to have a POCKETPC area for windows help...since it runs windows CE or currently mine(compaq ipaq 6300 series)running the upgrade windows 2002 OS.

Question, if anyone knows about such things:
(will call it PPC for POCKET PC from now on)
-I used ACTIVE SYNC 3.5's add/remove to remove some softwear I had tried. I removed it from list and the program off PPC, but
-On the PPC under START then PROGRAMS, the icon for the deleted program is still there and I can find NO WAY to remove it! I've tried the following:
-HOLD pen over icon to see if it would give a choice to DELETE..NO choices appear on this screen(programs)for such
-On PPC, go to Start/file explorer/ programs..and do NOT see name of item listed to delete..also searched in this area under every single folder to see if it is listed in any other folders..it is not
    - go on PPC to start/settings/remove programs ..and it is not listed there
-on ActiveSync go to EXPLORE and look in PROGRAMS and NO name for item is listed
..how can I get rid of icon when program is no longer on PPC?
maybe this is a bug in the new 2002 upgrade? Of course I tried searching microsoft's web site to try to find anykind of help and cannot find ANYTHING using MANY TYPE WORDS to describe the POCKET PC 2002 product..even tho I PAID FOR IT!(another B-Gates complaint for his site-ha)

Good idea about a forum. Email me and I'll send you a few that you might like. Or run a search on pdas or handhelds on Google.

I have had the same problem and I don't think that there is a solution. The previous os had the same bug.
