    hi,

    i purchased my own domain a while back & i want to setup a mail-server for that domain, can anyone tell me how i do that ?? do i need to 'relay' that mail through my existing email-account(s) ?? basically what i want is make multiple email-accounts with my own doamin-name like webmaster@mydomain.com & help@mydomain.com.. maybe i need to add that i use the DNS servers from www.powerdns.com, i know i can forward mail through them to (like i do now) but that's limited to 5 accounts, that's not enough since i also created 'sub'-domains. i assume i need 3rd party software (if possible freeware :}

    any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Win2k can be a mail server using Microsoft Exchange, or some other mail server. Most mail servers are rather expensive in cost, but the more popular ones are free. Namely Sendmail. Sendmail is a GPL Mail Transfer Agent (MTA). Most people use Sendmail on Linux or other UNIX's, but you can also run it on Windows if you know what you are doing.
