    Hi all,

the strangest thing happened to me, a few days ago.
    the IE history (WIN98SE, IE6.0, AMD 450Mhz @ 64RAM),
    has stopped updating itself!

Whenever i clicked on a new (Blue by default) link, it would'nt go purple, and would'nt appear in the history at all!

    what should i do?

I ran all of the cleaning and spy-ware destroyer tools,
    and nothing helps.

I didn't install any new softwares in the last few days, before it happened.

Should i change any IE related files, like OLEAUT32.DLL, or such like it?

    Waiting for a respond.

No, do not start changing system files.
Instead Restart in Dos Mode and type in these commands at the prompt.

    smartdrv
    del c:\windows\win386.swp
    deltree c:\windows\cookies
    deltree c:\windows\history
    deltree c:\windows\temp
    deltree c:\windows\tempor~1

Check your spelling and press a Y that you want to delete.
Reboot, these folders, and win386.swp will be rebuilt.
