I am using Word or Powerpoint XP and I have selected Landscape as orientation, when it prints it prints in in portrait than in landscape. I've tried to print in Excel in landscape format and it prints just fine. I can print landscape in Notepad.

I've upgraded the printer drivers (HP DJ960) and that didn't work.

Looked on Microsoft website and found nothing listed regarding my problem.

    Need help.
    Bill.

I've had that happen on occasion and ended up changing the setting in the printer properties to landscape as well as in the page setup for the document.

The problem, I believe, was the printer I was using at the time.

Does it show in portrait or landscape format in print preview?

    Pete,

When I veiw it in landscape its showing portrait, but when I change it to landscape again ( i have the printer defaulted to landscape already) under the settings when in preview, it will print in landscape. Very strange.

I'm using Office XP Pro with a hp dj 960c printer.

I found a work around but not why and how to fix it for good.
    Any ideas...

    Bill,

As you've updated the printer driver I'll have to fall back to the default option - run a repair on Office XP.
