I have been using Office 2000 with visual basic macros, recently I upgraded to Office XP. I am getting an error message that I cannot run my macros becasue they are disabled. I have gone into word and set the security to low, but still the error.

Is there anywhere else I have to go to enable macros?

Hi Sue, what I usually do is set the level to 'Medium'.

This means that everytime you open a document that has a macro(s) in, it asks you whether you want to enable them, therefore when I open a document I know is running macros and are safe I click 'Enable Macros'.

To change your security level on macros, assuming your using the Visual Basic in Excel, go to Tools -> Macro -> Security and choose 'Medium'.

    Hope this helps. :)
