    Hello:
My Internet Explorer will not load certain web sites. I also use Netscape Navigator 6.2 and every site loads fine on that browser. For instance, Yahoo.com will not load, I get the "page can not be displayed message ", but other sites load fine. I am not using a firewall, and I do have a router connected, but I have bypassed it, connected my pc directly into my cable modem and it still does not work. I can ping yahoo, but the browser will not load it, or other sites (including this one). I had to access this site thru netscape.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Tom

    Alice:
I did not do anything too technical here.......
while I was at the MS web site, I noticed an upgrade and new service patch for IE 6.0, which I am using. Although I do upgrades every so often, this was a June 03 release. I thought as long as I was here I would download the new stuff for my IE.
As soon as I downloaded and rebooted, everything worked fine again! The new data may have changed my dns or proxy settings or something, but anyway it works.
    Thanks, Tom
