I finally got WinXP to install properly.
I made the mistake of installing Office2000 and Arena (simulation software). These 2 packages conflicted and made Office2k to act crazy.

So I uninstalled Office2k. Well, unfortunately, after rebooting my WIN XP became corrupted and now, sometimes the bootup sequence tells me it's missing some system files, but most of the times it just stalls in the white-bar Start up DOS sequence.

I tried using the XP 6-floppy boot-disk set that Microsoft has available; In hopes that I could "repair" the installation. Well, no dice!! It gets stuck in Floppy #3 while loading (Kernel Debugger DLL)...

As you know, because the HD is now NTFS, the regular DOS bootdisks do not recognize the C: drive. (error: Unrecognizable drive) or some **** like that.....

Is there a NTFS bootdisk that will allow me to just reformat the HD and give me the chance to reinstall everything from scratch or have I just been locked out of my new HD and will have to throw it away? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

    Thanks for your help

I figured some other way and allowed me to reinstall XP on that HD after formatting the HD again.

    Thanks!!!
