I'm connected to the Internet by my local cable. I am looking for a good dial up modem (as a back up and to send and receive faxes).

Any recommendations on a Hardware (controller based NOT winmodem or software modem) modem with Caller ID and Voice support would be greatly appreciated?

    Running Win XP.

I have had good experiences with Zoom.

This with DSP and V.92 is a good choice.

Is it on the MS HCL list?

The 2976 will load on 2k natively with out additional drivers.
