After sending an e-mail using M/S Outlook with 6 JPEG photos attached, I received a message that there was a problem with the amount of Windows Virtual memory, and that Windows (XP Professional) would "automaticly" adjust. No more messages, BUT now when I try to upload photos or send e-mail with photos attached, M/S Outlook just sits there and eventualy "times out ". Any help would be apreciated.

    Hello Alvin,

Go into the System Control Panel - advanced, and see what your current page file (virtual memory) setting is.

The default is 1.5 X RAM (memory). You can adjust this up to a limit of 3 times ram.

Sounds as if you do not have enough physical RAM for what you are doing, making the system use the page file on your hard drive more than it should. This also slows everything down.

How much RAM does your system have? The consensus is that it should be at least 512 MB, especially for XP Pro.

    Regards - Charles

Sounds like you have the same problem I have. I have a very good memory, but it's really short. :D (Just kidding)
