Trying to install a program in the C:/Program/folder and I get this error... I have tried changing permissions and it still won't work. I'd like to save all programs in one spot since I can't partition this darned drive GRRRRRR.

Any suggestions so I can use my computer right?

You don't have permission to save in this location, contact system administrator, would you like to save in Turtle Girl instead?

Short answer->Say Yes to the location Vista suggested....

I'm not in front of a Vista machine - but as I recall, there is a system folder \\Program Files and a user folder \\Program Data folder. Vista wants to use the users \\Program Data folder.

Thanks but that doesn't help, lol

I don't want to save everything in the same folder.

I'd like to save PROGRAMS in the PROGRAMS file... how can I do this?

    Any suggestions are appreciated. :D
