My system restore won't hold any points for more than one day. It is turned on. I have even made my own restore point two days ago and now it is gone. It use to work before .
Can someone please help me get it running again.

    Thanks ron49

After reading up about System Restore on the MS pages, I did a check using Eraser to wipe my unused disk space. Sure enough, WinXP removed the existing restore points. I had been wondering what had been happening to them...

    Hi Ron,

How much disk space is allocated to SR?

System > System restore tab. The default setting is 12% of HD
    space.

Yes, some erase software, depending on the options set, will wipe SR points. Its not XP that does the wiping.
