Just upgraded XP Pro with SP1. Since this also upgraded IE 6, I now have some issues with OE 6. With certain attachments my wife gets the message "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your email: (filename)" The kicker is I can get the same emails and OE does not remove the attachments. I cannot see where this is "configurable ". This is one of a couple of new "enhancements" from my friends at MS, but the most annoying.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Larry

Welcome to the board Larry ,

Actually the setting is in OE > TOOLS > OPTIONS > SECURITY TAB > and it tagged the box saying "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." Untag it!

    Zephyr,

Thanks! It worked! Man do I feel stupid! Guess OE isn't my thing.

    Thanks again.
