XP & Safe Mode

    I wanted to run an online virus scan in the safe mode, but when I got to safe mode my internet connection was "greyed" out. What's up with that?

    When you press f8 to enter safemode, look in the menu. Choose safemode with network support. Normal safemode only loads drivers necessary to boot to windows.
