    1. Does XPP create a record (log or ?) of documents printed from the 'Net?

    2. Wanted to explore "print to file "; must be entering the question incorrectly, as no reference returns in 'Help/Support'

    Thanks!

    Perhaps this will help.

Print to file is good for when you are out of paper, ink, or some other problem exixts with the printer. Also for when you don't have time to print large documents but need to get the groundwork done so as to print them later while listening to Mozart.

You can transport that file to another machine BUT it must have to same exact printer as you use to create the file.

You don't want to know how much grief I went through a couple years ago finding those simple facts out. :D

I'll share my tactic for printer coping with you. When a particular program doesn't allow you all the print options you want (some don't do print to file, some don't let you print only one particular sheet, etc.) then print to your Fax program and defer sending it until later or else send it to your own number. Then when you want a copy use the print facility of the fax program which usually is much more user friendly. Of course you can't do any editing but that's not usually needed.

Your other ? AFAIK there is no log kept.
