XP help and support

    Hi, new member from Thailand.

    My windows XP, sp2 has a problem I have never had before. When I try and open Help or System Information I get an error message. "can not open help
    and support because the service is not running ".

    "to fix the problem start the service named 'Help and Support'.

    I can not find how to start this service, can some one tell me where to start this
    service. I also would like to know what caused the problem if any one knows.

    Go to Start > Run and type services.msc then press the <Enter> key. Scroll down to Help and Support and double click it. Set the Startup type: box to Manual then click the Start button. Help and Support is dependant of the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. RPC should be set to Automatic and Started.
