Does anybody know the hack, that will prevent XP from acting up, upon installing 3rd party programs??????

Example: Roxie CD Creater causing Auto Play to stop on cd Player.

I think you may find that this is a requirement of Roxio CD Creator. When I was having problems with InCD on XP turning off Autoplay was a recommendation from their techies.

You could always turn it back on and see how Roxio performs.

Thanks for the reply. I am not having problems with the specific program, but I am aware of many (non) microsoft products that change the way XP preforms after they are loaded. I overheard someone saying that there is a way to go in and prevent windows from doing that.

Just trying to get the word out if it is true.

I've not heard of that - will be interested to see what transpires on this.
