XP fails to work

    Hello All...
    I had XP running perfectly, until it started to run sooooo slow, so I popped the XP disk into the computer and ran the "repair" fuction... XP tried to re-install it's self, and now is stuck in a state of limbo, attempting to re-install, but infact doing nothing. It says it has 34 mins remaining...but that was hours ago... So I turned the power off, the computer rebooted & it tried again to re-install... windows will not work... and I don't know what to do... can someone guide me with some advice... thank you...

    ...it's ok, fixed it....had to re-install it, but my computer's working & I'm happy
    :)
