I have Windows XP home, sp3 with all updates. My mail program is Eudora.

Whenever I try to email from the browser or other programs offering an email connection, Outlook Express comes up. An "errors occurred" window then comes up listing, in great length, why the message cannot be sent. I never have used Outlook Express.

If I right click "Start ", then select "properties and customize, Eudora is listed as the email program.

What is wrong and how do I get Eudora to launch?

    Thank you.

Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Programs - is Eudora in the email dropdown list and set as default?

Also, check Start|Set Programs Access and Default|Custom.
Do you have "Current mail program" selected? If anything other than that is selected under Computer Manufacturer or Microsoft Windows, you will have problems.
In fact, I do not even allow access to Outlook Express.

I didn't have the Internet Explorer selection correct. Changing it to Eudora solved the problem.

Thanks for the help. I posted this reply before but for some reason it didn't go through
