    Hi,
I'm getting the following message trying to open an old db in works. It was made in Works 8 and I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Also Googled the phrase and entered in MS help. No luck.
The procedure entry point ?CwchSzToWz@MWblStrings@@SAHPBDPAG@Z could not be located in the dynamic liink library WkWbl.dll.
    Help much appreciated.
(I have copied the db to another box and opened it ok there)

Thanks for that. followed link but in the Gateway page, couldn't find the XP>msworks>pss file or folder, in works or in windows.
Went for regedit, deleted anything with msworks in it, then programs>common files and deleted anything with msworks, then programs>msworks delete, then CP> add/remove>msworks remove. Reboot, reinstall, bingo. Not subtle but seems to have worked!
My duh; should have thought MS would hide stuff in the registry..
    Thanks.
