I start here to begin searching the MS Knowledge Base. It can be frustrating while trying to find the right search terms to get the information you need but after some practice it gets marginally easier. The site never does seem to get any faster, though.

 

Were you perhaps trying to open a .doc with wordpad?

Perhaps download and install the converter from

here?

Thanks for the URL MIZ..which I have bookmarked for future reference, though I was unable to find reference to my particular problem.....obviously not experienced enough in my searching methods.

DAIZY......like I said...you have performed the magic...but how do you do it.

It is an amazing world out there to find so many kind folk that are SOOOOOO willing to share for which I am ever grateful though at times do feel such a pain in posting my problems.
