I have a text in which is after every 5 inches inserted "enter ". I need to reformat this text to standard letter size, 8 1/2 by 11 inches.

Is there any way to automatically remove all these enters (hard breaks) instead of manually line by line? Thanks in advance. :)

Open the document in Word. Go to Edit>Replace. If the button on the lower left of the Find and Replace dialog box that says "More," click on it to show search options.

With all the options now showing, click on the "Special" button at the bottom. Then click on "Paragraph Mark." That should put a ^p in the "Find what" field. You can, of course, just type the ^p in manually. Leave the "Replace with" field blank.

Then click "Replace all" to eliminate them all or "Find Next" if you want to eliminate them one by one.
