Word locks up

    Running Office 2000 on Windows 2000.
    Word recognizes misspelled words and underlines them in red.
    While running the spell check from the task bar works fine, right-clicking on the word brings up a list of possible correct spellings that causes Word to stop responding.

    Any thoughts?

    Run detect and repair under Word help. You need the Office CD and it takes a while.
