My laptop crashed and a clean install was necessary. I downloade and installed all the drivers and all is fine except for the wireless adapter 2200. I have downloaded and installed the drivers but the adapter doesnt show in the device manager. How do I activate it?

the switch is often on the right front
check that the networking in the bios is set on as well
at the worst reset the bios to factory defaults and save > reboot
I remember one Toshiba laptop where i could not get the wireless to work
I went through the whole manual online to find the one line in the manual that referred to the switch
