I have a new Linksys Wireless router.
base unit is attached by cable to aWin Xp computer.
When I went to install the Linksys install disc it told me there was no need.
    runs
    one remote computer by wireless.
how can I assess the bandwidth of traffic being used by the remote pc ?

Not really sure what you are asking for or what problem you are trying to solve, if any.
