When ever I start my Pc running XP Pro my wireless network shows no connection. If I click on 'View available Wireless Networks' I get a message saying 'Windows cannot configure this wireless connection, if you want windows to configure this wireless connection click "change advanced settings" click the wireless networks tab and then select the check box labled "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings "
When I do this my wireless network starts working ok, but the next time I reboot my PC it's not working again and I have to repeat the above procedure. Any help please.
    Regards Paul

This is because there's probably a 3rd party wifi connection software running that came bundled with the wifi adapter. Disable this appplication from loading at boot. Then go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services and set Wireless Zero Config service to Automatic.

If you don't know what the 3rd party wifi software is, go to Start > Run > type MSCONFIG > Startup tab > and post here all the items in that list. We'll tell you which one to disable.
