    I keep receiving a Winstatkeep.exe error and Winstat.exe error.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Thanks,

WinStatKeep.exe is an advertising program. This process monitors your browsing habits and distributes the data back to the author's servers for analysis. This also prompts advertising popups. This program is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately.

Winstat.exe is related to trojan Kodorian Trojan

    I'd suggest you remove them.

Thanks for the information. I found the files, but adware or spybot would not delete the files. I did a search and found the files in explorer, but when I tried to delete them, I received an error that said I did not have access. ANy suggestions?

Reboot to safe mode and right click each of the files, choose properties, remove the read only attribute if present, apply and OK. Try deleting again. Empty the recycle bin if successful.

Thanks, none of the files had the read only attribute, but I was able to delete them in Safe Mode.

    I appreciate the help!

    Jim :)
