After an auto update has been installed, is it ok to remove the file/folder?
I actually see them in 2 places (Program Files\Windows Updates and the
    Windows folder).
The ones in the program files folder are:
    V4,
    wuaudnld.tmp,
    catalog,
    details,
    drivers,
    items.

In the windows folder there are names like:
    $NTuninstallKB824105$ (I wont list them all, there's a bunch).

    Thank You,

If you need the drive space they are fine to remove after you've had them loaded long enough to know they aren't going to cause problems because you won't be able to uninstall them after you remove the folders.

    Thanks, NEWT.

I'll just put them on a floppy or mini'cd.
