Every now and then while I am playing a game my computer will just reboot itself. When I check my Event Viewer via the Control Panel, this is the message it leaves:

"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0x8d242748, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x8d242748). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini113003-02.dmp.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp."

Any ideas on what the problem could be? Would really appreciate any help anyone can give. If you have the time, e-mail is the preferred response method. My e-mail is defubar@comcast.net. Otherwise just respond here, thanks.

Set it so it does not automatically reboot after a crash so that you get a BSOD (blue screen of death). It will have quite a bit more information.

Near impossible to track down the cause from the information given. But if you do have event log entries, try putting the whole thing here. Open the event, click the icon below the up/down arrows (sends a text-only copy to the clipboard) and paste it here.

Much better to keep all the comments on the thread on the forum. Otherwise someone who might have an answer may not see needed information. If you just want to know when there is activity on the thread, you can check the "email notification" block that's just below the box where you type in a comment.
