Hi, I have been successful in installing XP Mode in Win 7 Pro 32-Bit. It is not bad and I installed IE 8, MP11, TweakUI, Updated at Microsoft Update, etc.

My question has to do with the graphics driver. I know Virtual Machines work a different way when it comes to hardware but I cant stand the 16-bit S3-Driver. Is there any way in XP Mode or any virtual machine to install the correct graphics driver? I have a Geforce FX and really want to use that. It works perfect in Windows 7.

This is the only driver I want to update. I originally posted this thread in another website and someone mentioned they fixed this problem by installing the driver in Win 7 instead but I don't understand what they mean? If anyone can clarify this it would help me a lot.

    Thanks,

    Mike

You can't. The Video Driver in Windows Virtual PC is 'fixed' as a S3 Trio 32/64.

Maybe other VM software will allow you to take advantage of your installed hardware.
