Windows XP Hotfix

    My Hard Drive is filling up and I want to know if I can delete the Windows HotFix downloads in the Add and Remove Programs area. Will doing so delete the updates or are those just install files?:confused:

    Hi cburb - Welcome to the Board :)

    Do not remove the Updates (HotFix) shown under Add/Remove programs - if you do the updates will be uninstalled!

    If you are short on disk space clean out your Temporary Internet Files and other temp files.

    EasyClean 2 is a good applet to do this safely, but select only Unnecessary Files and leave Duplicate files well alone
