windows startup

    when I start my computer for some reason I have to choose to start in Normal startup it don't go right to my desktop like it use to. How can I change that so it will go right to desktop at startup.

    windows xp home edition.

    If I remeber correctly:

    Go to Control Panel
    Go to User Accounts
    Click "Change the way users log on or offâ€
    Uncheck "Use the Welcome Screen.â€
