Hello, New here on the board.

I have a big problem. When I start my computer, I am logged on as a guest.

I believe I made the mistake of having set up 2 administrator accounts. Now I can't logon as administrator or have rights to do many things, ie, defrag, restore, etc.

I have a Western Digital extra hard drive. Can I use it to restore my windows login settings from before?

Any help would be SO appreciated.

    Thanks so much.

Welcome back. (Join Date: Mar 2003)

You can have several Admin User Accounts.

What do you mean when you say "from before? "

I mean from a backup I did on the Western Digital hard drive. It was quite a while ago, but maybe I could then logon as administrator?

You'd probably have to be logged in as an administrator to use the info..

Since you have two admin accounts - what happens when you try to log in with one of them..

** Please note, that we can't help you crack or hack into the pc if you've forgotten the passwords. **

It asks for the password that I can't remember. I have tried every one that I thought it could be.

I purchased a Password Recovery tool from Spotmau yesterday. Should I wait for it (the Cd) and try to do it that way, (without having to make a CD of my own?)
