Windows Media Player 10?

I have WMP 9 on my computer. Today I downloaded 10 and installed it. It plays just fine but I've two problems:

1. The installation took the short cut from my desktop. It was the short cut to WMP 9 which is what I wanted BUT it did not leave a short cut to WMP 10. How do I get one?

2. I assumed it would over-ride and thus either delete or uninstall WMP 9. It didn't. When I go into the WMP folder I can see both in there but no short cut to WMP 10.

What is the best way to uninstall WMP 9? It doesn't appear in my Add/Remove line-up?

Delete the WMP9 icon by simply right clicking on it and delete.

Then go to Start-Programs and look for the WMP10 icon. It may just say Windows Media Player, but will have a different icon than before.

When you find the new icon in the Start menu, Right Click on it and choose Send To, then Desktop(Create Shortcut)
